For me, art is not about the accuracy with which I can portray a face or a tree.  Art is a medium with which I can convey a message of emotion that attracts my viewers and moves them.  My work is designed to make you stop and think about your life and the world in which we reside.  I hope to captivate my viewer through the beauty of my work and keep them looking at it long enough to discover the deeper meaning in each work I create.  Art is a place with no boundaries, rules, or limits.  The act of making art is one that relieves me of my insecurities and allows me to shine.  I hope to share my love for art and art making with those around me so they can experience its power.
